Decisions decisions

So where to begin... I put a bit of thought into how I was going to maintain communication with friend's and family back home in NZ and around the world.  At first I had decided I wasn't going to do a blog and was going to try group emails, I had even started a newspaper called 'Kim's Chronicles' - first edition was completed and ready to be released BUT... I have no access to my email accounts at the moment which is a story in itself. So I figured a blog is the way to go.  A bonus is that the posts can be big or little and I don't have to wait until I have enough content worthy of an email.  So I am going to give this a go. People can save the link and check in if they are thinking 'I wonder what Kim is up to' or you can ignore my rambling completely - win win!
